[TEST] What to Expect During a Whole-Home Remodel Timeline

This is placeholder test content used to preview the blog styling. It will be replaced with real content before anything is published.

A whole-home remodel touches nearly every room, so the timeline looks different from a single-room project. Here is roughly what the process looks like from first call to move-back-in.

Phase 1: Design and planning

Expect several weeks of design work, material selections, and permitting before any demolition starts.

Phase 2: Demolition and structural work

This is the loudest, messiest phase, and also the fastest. Structural and mechanical changes happen here.

Phase 3: Finishes

Flooring, cabinetry, paint, and fixtures go in. This phase tends to take the longest because of lead times on custom materials.

  • Design and permitting: 4 to 8 weeks
  • Demo and structural: 2 to 4 weeks
  • Finishes and punch list: 6 to 12 weeks

Every project is different, but having a realistic timeline up front makes the whole process less stressful.
